Company
Profile
In 1888, Jacob Kastriner and Charles Eiseman combined talents
to manufacture "K&E" Boys waist and blouses, incorporating
the organization in 1914 as the KAYNEE Company. KAYNEE has a number
of "firsts" to its credit. For example, in 1910 the company
devised and patented the first loop drawstring for boy's blouses.
In addition, KAYNEE was the first boyswear manufacturer to advertise
its apparel.
Finally, the company developed the exclusive patented "Nexpander"
collar, which actually helps the shirt collar "grow" with
the wearer, making the shirt more comfortable and provides for longer
wear. From its simple beginnings, KAYNEE has expanded its offerings
to include a broad selection of items for the adult and youth wear
uniform market, including knits, woven shirts, and fleece. |
